Preparing the oven baked salmon is super easy: you just have to coat the salmon with sesame seeds and bake it into the oven for about 20-25 minutes. Then serve it with a side of tomatoes salad or other veggies.
I love salmon and this is one of the recipes that I like to prepare when I have no time but I want a yummy and fullfilling dish.

Oven baked salmon with sesame seeds and tomatoes
Ingredients
- salmon: 2 fillets
- vine tomatoes: 2
- sesame seeds: 2-3 tbsp
- fresh basil to taste
- fresh thyme to taste
- extra virgin olive oil as needed
- salt as needed
- pepper as needed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Put the sesame seeds in a plate. Brush the salmon with a little oil and press it onto the seeds until well coated.
- Place the salmon on a tray lined with parchment paper with the skin facing down and bake for about 20-25 minutes (it depends on the fillets' size) into the preheated oven until the sesame seeds are slightly golden.
- Cut the tomatoes in half, remove water and seeds and cut into 1 cm dices. Season with salt, pepper, extra virgin olive oil and some chopped basil and thyme. Serve as a side with the baked salmon.
